A call to John Edwards Delegates
DEMAND A ROLL CALL and VOTE FOR HILLARY at the convention.
The majority of Edwards supporters would have voted for HILLARY at the time.
I know that from personal experience. My brother who lives in South Carolina supported and voted for Edwards.A close call he said. This a fact in many areas of the nation.Let our party voters and wishes be heard.
If Obama can not hear our partys wishes, can he hear our nations wishes as a possible President? It's simple really...,
OBAMA-Hillary 2008
"Yes,We Can".
Yes,YOU can Obama!

Randy...Rcalypso,
I'm only asking this because I am sincerely trying to understand where you are coming from.
Let's assume that your statement "The majority of Edwards supporters would have voted for HILLARY at the time" is true.
That being said, do you understand that your next statements:
"I know that from personal experience. My brother who lives in South Carolina supported and voted for Edwards. A close call he said. This a fact in many areas of the nation."
Don't support your claim. Do you understand that, or do you believe those statements support your claim?
I'm not trying to start a fight or argument, I just really want to understand how you think.
I've never voted Republican in my life. But this time I am, for John McCain, and it's all because of what the DNC did to Hillary Clinton. Everyone else I know will be voting that way too. At this point it doesn't even matter where Edwards' votes will go...the DNC has made up its mind and they'll drag Obama across the finish line if they have to. But he won't win in November.
I like your post, and I applaud your tenacity.
As for Joe...there is no discussion; there's no need to back anything up. I'm a Democrat voting for McCain, and so is everyone else I know. And we're going to win big in November.
My question wasn't directed to you Ryan, so there was no need to address me.
I'm voting McCain and Republican for the first time in my life too. They screwed Hillary with the help of the media, and the only way I can show my distaste of the DNC, Nancy Pelosi and Obama is to vote for McCain...
This all sour grapes. Obama has bent over backwards to accomodate Hillary and her ilk and they still bitch and whine. Sorry calypso, your personal experience can not be said to representative of all Edwards supporters. Polling groups showed Obama was the second choice for most.
Hillary's campaign didn't fail because of bad rules or sexism. Everyone knew the rules up front, they've been running caucuses for decades and Hillary's people chose not to compete, that is their fault. Caucuses are better than primaries anyway, at least real people debate the issues, primaries are mostly won by 30-second ads.
As for sexism, yes Hillary faced some of it, especially from the likes of Christ Mathews but that isn't what did her campaign in. Obama probably faced more racism than Hillary faced sexism. She simply ran an overconfident campaign than simply acted if the nomination was going to be coronation. She lost, so have hundreds of other candidates. She has no one to blame but herself.
After the Saddle Back event I don't think that Obama will have such an easy time against McCain. Unfortunately for us Obama lacked substance and conviction. At the convention we really should rethink Barack's chances of beating McCain.
I believe that Hillary has a much better shot than Barack at beating McCain.
Maybe...but it's too late in the game for that. 3 months till election day. Can't raise enough money to pay off the debt and compete against McCain at this point.
Of course John Edwards supporters would vote for Hillary. They have a connection - infidelity!
McCain/Ridge '08
I am also a Democrat, and have supported Clinton in this race, but unless Clinton is the candidate for the party, I will find myself voting Republican in this upcoming election. I do not think I stand alone in this. I am so disappointed that the Democatic party is unable to look at the "BIG" picture of who can win the general election instead of their short-sided politics that has lost them the elections for far too long now.
You are "disappointed that the Democatic party is unable to look at the "BIG" picture of who can win the general election", but you are part of the reason that the party might lose since you will be voting for McCain.
You just contradicted yourself.
