Panel Finds Palin Abused Power
Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin abused her power as Alaska's governor when she fired her former public safety commissioner, a legislative committee concluded Friday. The finding is the result of a 263-page report on the so-called "Troopergate" scandal.
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Oct 10) - Sarah Palin unlawfully abused her power as governor by trying to have her former brother-in-law fired as a state trooper, the chief investigator of an Alaska legislative panel concluded Friday.Politically,this has her reputation as a reformer on John McCain's Republican ticket in question once again.Investigator Stephen Branchflower, in a report by a bipartisan panel that investigated the matter, found Palin in violation of a state ethics law that prohibits public officials from using their office for personal gain.

Her brother-in-law - a LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL - beat her sister on a regular basis, and possibly their children.
He should have been fired and stripped of his law enforcement licenses long before Sarah Palin was elected governour.
It's sick and pathetic that she is being persecuted for trying to UPHOLD LAWS: removing a wife-beating cop is LEGAL. The cop was COMMITTED A CRIME BY BEATING HIS WIFE, AND LATER HARASSING AND STALKING HIS WIFE DURING THEIR DIVORCE.
Palin was trying to remove two criminals - the brother-in-law, and the transportation official who had been hindering and blocking official investigations into her brother-in-law's off-duty behaviour.
Her firing officials for breaking laws and wife-beating is LEGAL.
Shame on the whole lot of you who refuse to do your research to learn the FACTS of the situation. You hate Republicans so much you believe all the lies the media sells you.
